Ms. Khan completed her undergraduate studies at York University in Ontario, Canada, and is a 1988 graduate of The Cleveland Marshall College of Law.

Ms. Khan is a member of the Maryland, Virginia and District of Columbia bars, and has wide experience practicing in their respective state and federal courts. Additionally, Ms. Khan is a member of, and has successfully argued cases before the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland, and the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. Ms. Khan has also defeated the grant of certiorari before the Supreme Court of the United States.
